The Manuka left Sydney for Wellington direct at 3 p.m. on Thursday. She is duo hero early on Monday afternoon to land 50 saloon and 76 steerage passengers. Her cargo for Wellington totals 492 tons, including 820 cases of fruit. MOERAKI LEAVES TO-DAY. On account of the largo quantity of cargo to be taken in at this port tho Moeraki ■will not be dispatched for Sydney till this afternoon—two days late. MESS-TABLE GOSSIP. Mr. F. 0. Jacobs has joined tho Ngakuta fis seoond engineer in place of Mr. 0. Broadley. Mr.-P. C. Locke, wireless operator on the Tarawera, having come ashore, Mr. S. Oook has filled the vacancy. Messrs. C. Karlson and H. 0. White, who camo down; from Auckland as extra officers oil tho Tarawera, left that ship at. Wellington yesterday. Mr. H. H. Barns has signed on the Moeraki as seventh engineer, and Mr. O. M'Vicar. sixth engineer, has left tho vessel. Captain A. W. Wildmaa is acting as har-, boumiaster and pilot at Nelson during the absence of Captain Collins on holiday leave. Captain Croft, of the Victoria, who has been on holiday leave for some time, "will come ashore. The C. and D. liner Star of Scotland has left Auckland, in continuation of her journey from London to Napier and Welling, ton. She is due at this port on Monday morning next. The New Zealand Shipping Company's R.M.S. Ruapehu, which was to have continued her journey from Hobart to Auckland and Wellington last evening, i's due here about November 18.
At 4 a.m. to-day the Orari arrived at Auckland from Liverpool. She will leave the northern port on Tuesday, and is duo here about- Thursday next. At 8 ?„.m. on Thursday the Chatham Islands Fishing Company's steamer Himitangri arrived at Chatham Islands, from Wellington, via Lyttelton. She will subsequently visit Whaagaroo, Kaingaroa, Owcnua, and Pitt Island, returning to Waitangi before returning to Lyttelton and. "Wellington; This port should be made about November 15.
The P. and. S. chartered steamer Dongarra is expected to leave for New York tomorrow morning at daybreak. The i Orari arrived at Auckland yesterday moraine from Liverpool, via way ports.
