By Telegraph.—Press Association. Rctorua, November 5. The Wairaangu geyser erunted at 2 p.m. There was one shot. T&e volcano has now ceased. It was a very good shot. \ FRYING PAN BLOWN AWAY. Rotorua, November 5. Waimangu Geyser exploded at 2 o'clock this afternoon. The eruption was much less than thait of April 12, being a shot of' three or four minutes 1 duration. A column of mud, water, and steam rose 200 or 300 foet, nnd a cavity 60 feet across was formed. Tho Frying Pan Flat was almost blown uway. After the explosion the geyser became absolutely quiescent, and no sign of Eruption has been manifested since.
