TRIBUTE IN THE FRENCH SENATE. By Tele fraph—Press Association—Copyright Paris, October 31. _ Tlie French Senate adopted a resolution condemning the execution of Nurse Edith Cavell, who was a martyr to patriotism, and declaring that eternal justice brands the authors of that deed with everlasting infamy. The Government has ordered that Miss Cavell's heroism and barbarous execution shall be explained to the children in every elementary school. ARRESTS AND EXECUTIONS IN BELGIUM. NINE DEATH SENTENCES. Amsterdam, October 31. Advices from Berlin state that nino persons have been executed for espionage in Belgium, and that ten sentences nf penal sorvitnde imposed, including three on women. Twenty-five persons have been arrosted for espionage and dynamite plots, including four women. A HURRIED EXECUTION.
