WELLINGTON HARBOUR
MEETING OF THE BOARD. The monthly meeting of the Wellington Harbour Board was held last night. There were present: Messrs. C. E. Daniell (chairman), R. Fletcher, M.P., M. Cohen, R. E. Sinclair, A. MacFarlane, J. G. Cobbo, J. W. M'Ewan, W. T. Hildreth, A. H. Hindmarsli, 3. G. Harlcness, H. L. Nathan, and C. W. Jones. The chairman congratulated Mr. Hildreth on his appointment to the seat on the hoard vacated by Captain D. J. Watson. Mr. Fletcher also felicitated Mr. Hildreth on his reappearance at the board table, and Mr. Hildreth acknowledged the compliment. The bank pass books showed a credit to current account of £43,192, imprest account £1219, and on fixed deposit £60,000. Payments for interest, wages, works, and salaries amounting to £18,341 were approved.
