Tho reorganisation of the hospitals and arrangements at Horse Ferry Road to deal with convalescents, left tho problem of the Australian and New Zealand officers and men on furlough in Loiidon ■ unsolved. Arrangements have been now completed to.deal with the matter on tho most generous linos. _ Mrs. Moncrieff, Sir lan Hamilton's sister-in-law, has secureli a large building in Rochester Row, close to Horse Forry Road, which was formerly a police instruction college, and, it has been fitted with three hundred beds. There is ample space for buffets, reading and writing rooms, a gymnasium, and other club facilities. It is open to Australians, New Zealanders, and men from the 9ther Dominions of tho rank and file. Tlie King and Queen .have approved tho scheme, and have expressed a desire to be associated with it. Miss M'Caul, the well-known Red Cross organiser, has offered premises in Welbeck Street for a similar club for Australian officers. The two schemes will cost £10,000. The men and officers will bo charged small iuclusive rates to cover living expenses.
