ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
TWO MISHAPS. Two nasty injuries resulting from simple accidents were' reported from tie Public Hospital last', evenin.g Mr. J. Nelson, of No. 14 Adelaide Road, slipped on a footpath on Saturday night, and fractured bis hip. J. Peedie, a boy of eleven years, fell off a fenco on Saturday, and broke his elbow.
His Worship the Mayor has agreed to November 13 as the date for a "Rose Day" in connection with the Y.M.C.A.'s effort to raise funds for its military work in the Homo camps and fn. Egypt.; Mr. Varney, Y.M.C.A. general secretary, will bo pleased to hear from those willing to assist either By service or by gifts of flowers.
