At Trentham on Snturclay afternoon the Karori Club fired a friendly teams' match against tlio visiting team of the Tua Marina Defence Rifle Club, which resulted in a win for the Karori Club by 19 points. The Karori Club entertained the visitors at dinner tho same evening at XV. Hall's rooms, Cuba Street. Among tho guests were; Colonel Collins, President Cresswell (Tua Marina D.R. Club), President Cheeseman (Marlborough Rifle Union), and ' President Flaws (Pctone Rifle Club). President Marshall expressed the Kanori Club's appreciation of the visit of tfne Tua Marina team, and congratulated them on being tho first team to journey from tlie South Island to participate in an inter-club match in tho North Island.
OLD NA.VALS' CLUB. The 01(1 Navals' Rifle Club opened its shooting season, on the Miramar Range on Saturday afternoon with a match between President J. Babe's team and Deputy-Presidaut W. Harris's team. There was a fair muster of members, including several new and promising shots.' President Rabb's team won by 11 points, with a. score of 306 against 355 points. Scores: —.
