The ninety-seventh list of casualties shows:—Killed 111 action, 16 men; died of wounds,. 10 men; died of illness, (i men; wounded, 3 officers ruul 79 men; ill, 2 officers and 236 men, including Sorgt.-Major E. A. Hardey, Privates j. Cole, J. Lister, and G. Gould (New Zealaliders). Disembarked at Malta: W. Bosie, W. MacFayden, and W. A. W. Gudgeon (New Zealandcrs). In hospital in Loudon: l'te. J. R. Eeid; at Alexandria- (previously reported ill or wounded), Corpl. V. Strong, Privates J. M'Envoy and J. Caldwell. In liospital in Birmingham: Lce.-Corpl. I?. D. Chalmers, Privates J. J. Smith and D. Fryer. In London: Privates T. AY. Wilson, J. Jf'Culiaali and B. R. Behourhel; at Privates J. 'P. Black and R.. jM'Grcgor. Embarked for England: Sergt. C. Hudson, reported dangerously ill, hut progressing very favourably.
