Burn (Mayor of Karori) stating-that Karon's contribution to the R-ed Cross Fund will amount to the very, creditable sum .of £174, and that a. cheque will ;be forwarded for that amount early this week. Mr. J. F. Dann, of Otaki; has written ■to Mr. Luke informing him that tho Otaki campaign was..to. end.up on Saturday evening, and the money would be forwarded in due course. •, On Saturday considerably- over £75 was collected at Pctoue for the Red Cross Fund. fllie Carterton Patriotic; Society on Saturday raised £100 with a cake, flowers, and lollies stall iii aid-of tho Red Cross Funds. Included in this total is a £50 donation from a Mr. M'Gregor, of .the .Wairarapa district. 4
