BOWLS
There will be tournament play on several of the local greens on Monday next (Labour Day). The Victoria Club have decided to hold an all-day tourney, and it is probable that a pairs tourney will take place on the Wellington Club's green. The whole of the proceeds (entrance money) will be devoted to the Christmas Gift Fund for the benefit of our forces at the front. On Saturday afternoon next a collection will be made on each of tho greens with the same laudable end in view.
