ISLAND BAY—BER.HAMPORE SECTION. On Tuesday evening the weekly yarado was held on Wakefield Park, tlio weather being ideal for outdoor work. Tho programme consisted of some preliminary squad drill under section commanders, followed by company drill, and concluding with extended order work, illustrating tho use of field signals. The company has to thank tlio City Council for having installed two powerful lights on tho ground, enabling detail work to bo porformed'outside with the same exactitude as in a drill hall- A further improvement in the attendance on parade was noticeable, m addition to which a number of uew recruits wore enrolled.
