CUP MATCHES BEGIN THIS WEEK FIXTURES DRAWN. The Wellington Cricket Association mot last eveniug. Tho season's oup matches begin on Saturday, and the following fixtures were drawn:-— First Grade. —First, round: North and Old Boys, on Basin No. 2; Central and Hutt, at Lower Hutt; Trentham and East, oil Basin No. 1; Petone and University, at Petone. Second round; Central and East, on Basin No. 1; Old Boys and University on Basin No. 2; Hutt and Trentham, at Lower Hutt; I'etone and North, at Petone. Tliird round: ; Trentham ana Old Boys, Basin Reserve; University and East, Basin ; North and Central, Basin; Petone' and Hutt, at Lower Hutt. Second Grade.—First round: North and Trentham, Basin Rcservo, No. 3; East and University, Basin Reserve No. <1; Old Boys and Petone, Petone; Boys' Institute and Porirna, Porirua; Central and Hutt, Hutt; Marist Brothers and Wellington, College Ground.

Third Grade.—First round: Marist Brothers and Trentham, . at Kelburn; Wellington College B and Petone, at College Ground; College A and Old Boys, ,at College. Second round: Tren■tham and College A, at College Ground ; Marist Brothers and College B, at College,; Petone and Old Boys, at Petone. It was decided by tho association that last year's boundaries ■ should be observed. Marist Brothers' Old Boys were granted a practice wicket on tho Basin lleserve. Sir Francis Bell forwarded three guineas and accepted the position of president of tho association. Sir. W. E. Bothune forwarded 0110 guinea and aceopted a vicc-presidency.
