PATRIOTIC MEETING
Attention'is called to an announcement appearing in our advertising columns of a large patriotic meeting convened by His Worship the Mayor (Mr. J. P. Luke) in conjunction with the Mayor's Patriotic Committee and the War League, to be held in the Town Hall on Thursday (Tra'■falgar Night), October 21, at 8 o'clock. The speakers will be Messrs. A. R. Atkinson, A. H. Hindmarsli'. H.P., John Hutcheson, J. P. Firth, Alfred Jolly, Captain Simeon (returned from Gallipoli), and Dr. Platte-Mills. His Worship the Mayor will preside, and Mr. Bernard F. Page (City Organist) will play appropriate music on the organ. ' The National Reserve (both men's and women' 6 branches) will specially parade for the meeting.
