■ A race flown from Auckland during the week end under the auspices of the Hutt Valley Homing Pigeon Society resulted as followsWhitehead and Booth's "Torchy," time Shi*. 23niin., velocity 1061, yds. per minute, 1; E. M'Malion's "Gipsy," time Bhr. 25min., velocity 1057 yds; per minute, 2; W. and L. Booth's "Redw : ng," time Olir. 58min., velocity 875 yds. per minute, 3. Tho first and second prizes were trophies donated by Messrs. Thomas and Bennett.
