The Australian and New Zealand wounded in Britain were delighted with tho new.s that nine Victoria Crosses had been awarded their countrymen. The news was given • prominence in all the newspapers, and called forth many tributes to the Australians and New Zealanders' bravery. Members of the Seventh Battalion were delighted to recall the action in which Lieutenants Tubb and Symons partook during tbo original landing, of which it is believed not five per cent, are now unscathed.
