GOLF
On Saturday an "eclectic" competition was commenced by the Miramar Club, for which the entrance fees go to the Club-house War Fund, and for which a trophy was given by Mr. B. L. Taylor.' Entrance fees amounted to the ■satisfactory figures of £11, bringing the total subscribed to date to £242 16s. It is hoped that all who desire to help this fund will communicate with the secretary as early as possible.
