Westland, it is stated, has sent 14 per cent, of her population to help the Motherland ia tne present struggle for justice. This, it is olaimed, is the largest percentage sent by any province in the Dominion. Many brave young follows have been killed in action or died from injuries, and in order to provido for their dependents and other wounded soldiers, a monatcr art union has been organised. As will bo seen by advertisement in this issue there are three prizes, namely, .£2OOO, .£1(100, and and each ticket-holder has an opportunity of winning one of the three prizes for 2s. 6d.
