A SUB-EDITOR ASSAULTED

Sergeant-Major Parker was fined £5 for assaulting the sub-editor of the newspaper "Truth," by pouring a bottle of ink over liim, because the paper described him (Parker) as belonging to the "Cold Feet Brigade." Parker is tho athletic trainer at the military camp, and the father of six children. Ho offered for service at tho front, but the Department told him ho was better omployed training troops.
