Consignees will bo interested to learn that some of tho cargo ex'the steamer Stolberg,_ interned in Java, has been shipped in the Overstraten to Sydney, and is being transhipped to New Zealand. ; Cable advice has also bten received that the Lubeck cargo is turning out well, and that this cargo was being loaded into the Tasman on October 10. The latter steamer was then to call at Macassar for the balance of the Stolberg cargo. "
The donors of the funds for the wounded soldiers held by His Worship the Mayor, the Hon. J. G. W. Aitken, and che Wellington Patriotic Society are requested to attend a meeting to be held at tho Concert Room, Town Hall, on Monday evening neNt at 8 o'clock, for the purpose of passing the necessary resolutions to enable a society to be incorporated to a'dminister the funds.
