Aocording to Swedish newspapers, twelve British submarines are now in: tho Baltic. Three aro operating round Oeland. Ono of them ordered 'the German crew of the ship Walter Leonard to the boats, and then dynamited the vessel. ' (Rec. October 15, 1.20 a.m.) Copenhagen, October Id. Ten. German steamers are known to have been sunk. Only nine out of twenty-seven vessels which are due have arrived. , i MESSAGERIES STEAMER SUNK. . (Rec. October 15, 1.20 a.m.) Paris, October 14. The Messageries steamer Yunuau has been torpedoed. The crew wore landed.
