SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
At tho Sailors' Friend Society last night n pleasant programme was provided by Mr. and Mrs. Pock and party. Various competitions added to tho enjoyment of tho evening. At tho close a hearty voto of thanks was accorded the performers, who were:—Mrs. Peek, Messrs. Peek, Clarke, and Hyams,' Strop-pen (Kaikouni), Musslers and Katong (Rimutaka); pianist, Miss Gallichan.
