PETONE CRICKET CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING. The seventh annual meeting of tlio Petone Cricket Club was held last evening, Dr. Ross presiding. The report and balan'ce-sheet (already published) .were adopted, and it was decided _to open the season on Saturday next with a scratch match, and to enter senior, junior, and third-class teams'for the competition. The following officers were elected: — President, Dr. Ross; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. Rodgers, A. Coles, and H. Palmer; club captain, ; E. W. Smyrk; secretary and treasurer, A. Smith; committee; A. Taylor, G. Wilkes, E. Tre--gear, W.- S.' Brice,' and A. Donegluie; delegates to Wellington Cricket Association, D. M'Kenssie, G. Wilkes, and E ; W. Smyrk; auditor, J. Piper,
