! A meoting of the, Wairarapa District Committee of the Dominion. Boy Scouts was hold at Greytown on Tuesday. Mr.' It. Fraaer Joyce (provincial secretary) Ipresidod, and there .were also present Rev. Mr. Compton,and Messrs. W. 0. Davics, M. Maxton; and Scoutmasters Wakelin (Carterton), M'L-ean (Featherston), H. Pike, and AssistantScoutmaster Hardingo (Greytown). An apology' for rion-attQndance was received from Mr. Moore (district commander). ■ Mr. M. Maxton was "elected district secretary, and Mr. W. Muir was appointed scoutmaster,' in addition to Mr. EI. Pike. The several scoutmasters were instructed to nominate examiners for the different troops. ' . •
• At a meoting of the Grey town Scouts tbo following were appointed a I committee to deal witli local matters:— Revs. Comptoil and Neale, and Messrs. •W. C. Davies, P. M. Jackson, Miss •>Dayis,' and Scoutmasters Pike and Muir. Tlio • Rev. Mr. Compton was elected secretary and treasurer.
