LECTURE ON CHINA
An interesting lecture on "China" was delivered in tho Conrtenay Place Church' last evening _ bjr'j Rev. T.' Howard Smith, of Peking, in aid of the London Missionary Society. Mr. Smith's lecture was well illustrated with' lantern slides and kinema films, and the addiess itself was good. He dealt chiejly witli aspects of mission work in. this vast, field, but, introduced many quaint sides of daily life in the country,. The rural: scenes were very well worth seeing, and the explanatory matter made . them doubly interesting. The kinema films dealt with work among the lepers.
