Wedding at St. Peter's. 011 Wednesday afternoon at St. Peter's Church, the marriage took place of Miss Marie. Hazel de St. Croix, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Slater Aloys, of Hataitai, to Mr. Walter Gilbert Short, eldest son of Mr. Ernest Short-, of "Parorangi," Feildiug. The "bride, who was given away by Mr. Barclay, of Kkotahuna," wore a dress of white embroidered voile, with a"? veil ancl orange blossoms. The bridesmaids were Miss. Clater, tho Misses Evelyn and Thelma Short (sisters , of' tlio bridegroom), and the Misses Delza and Joan Chant. The bridegroom's present to the bride was an aquamarine ; pendant, and to the three elder bridesmaids were given moonstone lieckli ts. The younger bridesmaids received gold brooches. Tlio bride's - travelling dress was of saxe blue watered silk poplin, and a wide hat of grey - silk straw and crepe de chene, with blue silk roses. Tho bride and bridegroom received many-presents, which included a canteen of cutlery from the employees of ''Parorangi,"and a solid silver tea and coffee service from the parents of tho bridegroom.
