LONDON WOOL SALES. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, have received tho following cablegram from their London house, under date September 30:—"At the wool sales .prices are very firm for good -wool, especially for merinos, whilst scoured is dearer, as also are shabby crossbreds. There is an Increased demand for sheepskins. Merino combing is Arm and slightly dearer, wlulEt merino clothing is occasionally slightly lower. Crossbred combing par to id. lower, especially Now ZeaJand, but clothing.is unchanged. Inferior as neglected and crossbresd lambs Id. lower; 56C0 bales offered, 4700 bales sold.
Messrs'. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., havo received the following advice, under date October I:—The pricep for merino and coarse crossbred show an. avorago of ,5 per cent, down, fine crossbrcd 5 per cent. up. i The JTew Zealand loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London house, under date October I:—"Sales closed with better tone as compared with July. Inferior me'rino scoured fine crossbrcd, 7J to 10 per cent:; scoured medium coarse, 10 to 15 per cent.; crossbrcd, greasy, and lambs, 10 per cent.; scoured merino medium, 5 to 7* per cent, lower." .Messrs, Murray,- Roberts,' and Co., Ltd., have received a cablegram from their London ' friends, Messrs.
