The programme opened with a Japanese dance, taken part in by several children dressed in the Japanese costume. Following it came a Russian dance, the children picturesquely dressed in greeu coats over white skirts and green caps edged with fur. Servia, Belgium, Franco were all represented by children in , the different dances that followed, all dressed to $uit the. respective nations. Gilford, N. Halse, Williams, Laurenson, and Williamson. Another patriotic note was struck by the singing of "The Soldier" by Mr. Jones, accompanied by the appearance of some Boy Scouts, who performed a march to suit the song. The "March of the Nations" still further emphasised the patriotic note. All the Allies were represented, the respective flags of each nation being carried by its representatives.
