ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS
The twenty-eighth annual exhibition of the New Zealand Academy of Arts will, be opened this afternon by the Hon. 6. W. Russell, Minister of Internal Affairs,, if his. public duties at this time of the session permit. After- 1 noon tea will be provided. The exhibition is,'if anything, above the usual' standard, aiid there are plenty of interesting pictures. One which will cause a good deal of interest and amusement is Mr. Boivring's cartoon of the National Ministry. The : , members'. art union will be drawn on'opening day, and the uublic art union towards the close of tlie exhibition. .
