CANARY SPECIALISTS' CLUB
At the annual meeting of ,the Dominion Canary Specialists' Club Mr. J. V. Rider presided'. The following officers were elected:—Patrons, Messrs. A. H. Hindmarsh and R. A. Wright, M.P.'s, Messrs. E. E. George, I. A. Thomson (Auckland), F. King (Auckland), C. Purlon (Palmerston North), H. Wilkinson, J. Malcolmson (Wanganui), J. Hornblow,'A. Pulley, I. Mills, J. Kinvig, E. iii. Solde. C. Clabburn, and A. Hunt; president, Mr. J. V. Eider (rc-elected); vice-presidents, Messrs. W. Inkpen (Palmerston North), L. Penrose (Cliristchurcli), T. Hanson (Auckland), J. Simmons (Dunedin), W. Bull, and W. Fitchctt (Wellington); hon. secretary and treasurer, .Mr. Phil B. Billing (re-elected); delegate to tho North Tsland Association, Mr. J. V. Rider. Thanks were given to those who had donated trophies for competition, and also to 111 ms executive for past services. Sevoral new members were proposed.
