There wero present at last evening's meeting of the Pctone Borough Council the. Mayor (Mr. J.-W. M'Ewan) and Councillors Cox,' Brocklebanlc, Anderson, Jones, M'Dougall, M'Kenzie, and Trueman. The Department of Internal Affairs called attention to tire amending regulations of tlio Motor Regulation. Act, 1908, which the council decided to adopt. ' Mr. J. J. M'Grath was granted - a permit to erect three liouses on the Hutt Road, subject to the Municipal Corporation Act being complied'with. Tho Wellington Harbour • Board forwarded regulations for boat shelter, tho adoption of which was held over until next meeting.
