IMPORTANT PROSECUTION. •By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Septemtfer 27. 'A young man appeared at the Police Court this morning charged with, knowing that he was suffering from an infectious disease, (scarlet fever), wilfully exposing himself in a public place. It was explained that .defendant and other members of his fariiily contracted scarlet fever, and the' house was isolated by the Health authorities, but when the defendant was getting better Ho visited his office in town.. Defendant pleaded guilty, explaining that an important matter required his attention. He had fumigated himself thoroughly before leaving. The Magistrate said the prosecution would act as a general warning.. Defendant was ordered to pay costs, 28s.
