The Hon. J. G. W. 'A it tan presided yesterday at tlie monthly meeting _of the Wellington College and Girls' High Scliool Board of Governors. Tlie credit ■ balance was reported as. £1975 Os. 6d., but after allowing for monthly payments of £955 18s. Bd. tills would lie reduced to £1019 Is. lOd. Fees and rente outstanding were shown as £5435 3s. Id. A copy of tlie Alien Enemy Teachers' Bill was before the -meeting, but the fchirman remarked that it did not concorn the board as none of the persons in the board's employ would be affected by the passing of the measure. Several letters that.were before the board were dealt with in committee.
