Tho Wanganui Patriotic Committee last- evening resolved to urge tlio Defence Department to issno a badge 'to men who had offered their services and been, rejected.; Statements were made on' evidence/ submitted by returned troopers that parcels of comforts sent to the front had never been 'received by'them, and'that a big donation of jam sent by the Auckland -Province' was absorbed in the Government stores in Egypt.
