A case of interest to local bodies was heard in the Supreme Court to-dny, when the trustees of Morrison's Bush Hall claimed from the FeaMieraton County Council the sum of J!550 damages, alleged to have been caused by a spark from an engine attached to a road roller setting fire to ami destroying tbo hall. After lengthy evidence had been taken, tho jury awarded the plaintiffs .£4OO damages, and costs wore allowed according to scale.
