ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
WHARF LABOURER'S DEATH. A wharf labourer named Thomas Quinn, a singlo man, 23 years of age, who was admitted to the Hospital on Monday last, suffering from internal injuries, the result of an accident on the wharf, died on Saturday. He is believed to have been caught and crushcd between the buffers of two trucks ou the railway wharf. An inquest will be held. KILLED BY A TRAM. A little boy, named Jack Ward, sis years of age, was run over in Adelaide Road at 5.20 p.m. on Saturday, and was seriously injured. He was removed to the Hospital, where he died soma three hours later. It is understood that the boy, wiose parent's reside in Moir Street, had been runnier behind a steam -wagon at' the time of the occurrence.
FOOTBALLER INJURED. A footballer, named Nicol, o residdent of Adelaide Road, r.'as admitted to the Hospitafl on 'Saturday afternoon suffering from injuries to his shoulder. He was hurt while playing in a match at Lower Hutt.
