It was announced by, cablegram that in Australia men who are invalided will be 'sent- forward if they recover sufficiently to be again fit for service, The :Hon.- J'. Allen ' ' (Defence Minister) said last night that the same rule would be observed' in' New Zealand. If men recovered sufficiently, to be fit to return to the front, they would be drafted to a contingent of Reinforcements. > Men would not be discharged unless medically, unfit. Mr. Allen could not'say how many, of. the men already sertt back would be jit to return to the- front,' or whether any, would .bo. fit to serve again.
