The daily bulletin concerning _ the number of cases in military hospitals j shows that the number of patients lias increased lately. The increase has not "been alarming, however. ' Referring to the matter last night, the Hon. 'J. Allen said that the increase did not mean that_ there was any considerable increase in serious_ sickness. Men were now put into hospital even if only very slightly unwell. There was a slight increase in measles, but he was. advised "that it was. impossible to prevent the spread of measles. No new cases of meningitis have been reported for sonic time. There were 61 admissions to Trentham Hospital yesterday, but the discharges for the same day were 76.
