ENTRUSTED TO ADMIRAL SIR PEROY SCOTT. London, September 13. Official: Admiral Sir Percy Scott has been entrusted with the gunnery defences of London against aircraft attacks. (Admiral Sir Percy Scott, -who retired in 1913, introduced tile night signalling apparatus now in use in the Navy, ana various appliances for improving heavy gun shooting. He also invented the gun carriage wlych enabled 6-inch and 4.7incli guns to be used in the South African AVar. Since the outbreak of the present war Sir Percy lias been on special service at the Admiralty.] SEQUEL TO THE LAST RAID RITZ AND CARLTON MANAGERS INTERNED. . . London, September 13. Since the aircraft raid on Wednesday last Theodora Krool, manager of the Ritz Hotel, and' Jacques Kraemer, manager of the Carlton, have been interned on the Isle of Man. Hitherto they have been registered aliens. Kraemer was originally a kitchen-boy in a big hotel.
