FOUNDATION-STONE LAID. (By Telegraph—Special Correspondent.) Taihape, September 13. The Prime Minister (lit. Hon. W. P. Massey) laid the foundation-stone of the Taihape Freezing Works this afternoon. Tho ceremony was attended by tho largest gathering ever seen in Taihape. The special train from town to the works was packed, and was inadequate for carrying alj those who wished to attend the function. Tho works aro expccted to bo ready for receiving stock early in December.
