OKOROIRE HOT SPRINGS HOTEL. By Telegraph.—Press Association Auckland, September 13. The Okoroire Hot Springs Hotel was totally destroyed by fire at. 5.30 this morning. Mr. Griffiths, ..owner of the Okoroiro Hotel, states he was awakened at 5.30 a.m., and saw from tlio bedroom window flames arising from the roof above tho billiard room. By tho time he had aroused the jjoarders and got outside, tho whole hotel seemed ablaze. All cscaped ill most scanty clothing, and a few personal belongings. , The building was valued at £6000. Tho insurances on buildings, furnishings, and stock total £3000 in the United- Insurance Company.
