A' communique states: ''There has been incessant bombing, grenade fighting, and cannonading in the Neuville sector', and most violent bombardments in tho Rove legion and between Paissy and. Oraonelle. "We repulsed a fresh German attempt at Sapigneul.. Our artillery southward/of Leintrey was effective again6t German concentration on positions, the German attack being immediately held up.. "A. German aeroplane yesterday rebombed Compiegne. ' "Our aeroplanes effectively dropped heavy shells on the German hangars at Brayelle." (Rec. September 13,10.15 p.m.) ' Paris, September 13. 'A*French' official communique (states:— 1 "Our artillery in the Paissy regiou replied effectively to tho enemy's fire. There has been a reciprocal cannonade in the Champagne region during the last five days." GERMAN OFFICIAL' COMMUNIQUE. Amsterdam, September 12. 'A German communique states: "There has been lively artillery fighting on the greater part of the Western front. Our minings in tho Champagno District and the Argonne greatly damaged tho enemy trenches. ' "Hostile airmon yesterday morning bombed Ostend, but neither did damage nor caused casualties."
