Tbo latter, are opposing all Botha's candidates and Botha- supporters aro contesting all tho Orangia seats, which hitherto have been regarded as overwhelmingly Herfzogit-e. A feature of the campaign is the number of candidates who served in tbo higher ranks against the Germans. The Bothaites appeal for a majority over all parties, thus emphasising South Africa's Imperial obligation. The Unionists offer to give full support to the Government.
