Coldwell, all members of the lata Conservative Government, have been arrested, for conspiring to defraud, in permitting the contractors for the new . Parliament Buildings to draw large sums for work they had not performed ; also for acting in collusion to increase the. prices under the contract. Their arrest is a technical one—the accused consenting to appear in court without on being admitted to bail in the sum of £10,000.
