-MAN WHO SHIRKS HIS DUTY. Writing from Gallipoli under date of July 13 to his parents at Kensington, Signaller J. Solomons says:— - "Had'l. not enlisted as early as'l did I would nevor have been able ,to walk along .a public- street •without being conscious of a sense of shame ; so,' you can see,'l.have tlio greatest pride,in being a. soldier of the First Australia.n Expeditionary Force.
