. — ; ' BROUGHAM HILL' CLUB. > The' report of the committee of the Brougham Hill Tennis CLub states that iii the iuter-club contests the club holds the following championships:—Men's competition, senior ; Ladies' competition, senior, junior, .' and third : class.-. Members of the club were also successful in. the. following tournaments: — At the Wellington Association's Easter Tournament: Mrs. Goldie, ladies' championship doubles; Mrs. Burton, Miss Sullivan, handicap doubles; Miss Hunt, second prizo ladies' handicap doubles; Miss Hunt, ladies' handicap singles; Miss Andrews, second prizo ladies' handicap singles; Mr. Itout, combined handicap doubles. At the'. Wellington Association's Christmas. Tournament: Mrs. Goldie, ladies' championship doubles; Mr..Rout, handicap doubles; Mr. Morison, combined handicap;doubles; Mr. Leicester, second-class singles; Mr. Lirid, second prize second-class singles. , Mr. L. Girlirig-Butcher represented 'Wellington:'province' in the annual match against Canterbury. Twentyone of our members ; havo_ enlisted, and already some liavo fallen in the fight.
