Tim citizens accorded the arriving and departing men an enthusiastic reception and send-off. The departing, men expressed themselves delighted with the treatment accorded ;them by-'the Wanganui people, and espressed tlie opinion that the Putiki- rifle ranga was not excelled for the purposes of musketry training.
