LOWER HUTT.
Sir,—With reference to you,r paragraph in yesterday's Dominion* I. noto with astonishment that you state there is tho liveliest demand for 5, 6, and 7'loomed houses in Wellington; and closeup suburbs, but in the Lower ' Hntt there is an easement. With reference to the Lower Hntt, this is absolutely contrary to fact, and whoever gave you tho information, evidently has no knowledge of that district. For the fact is, tliero is an unsatisfied demand for 4, 5, 6, 7, and- broomed houses in the Hntt, and there are none available. I speak with the fullest knowledge of the district. —I am, etc.,H. ERNEST LEIG'HTON. :
