The best scores handed in for tho Waiwetu Golf Club L.C4.U. monthly medals,were: A grade, Miss E, Gaynor, 85. B grade, Miss Rothschild, 81. The Red Cross medal for August was won by Miss' Rothschild. - THE HTJTTOLUB. The Hutt Club held its monthly competition 011 Saturday last; the winner being J. R. Callender, handicap 4, 1 up. The next best cards handed in were W. Brodrick (4), 1 down; and G. C. Schmidt (6), 1 down. The first- qualifying round for the club championship will be played on September 4. ,
