■ « HIJTT VALLEY SOCIETY, The General Committee of the Huti Valley Horticultural Society .met on Friday ilight to discuss arrangements for the "forthcoming. Patriotic. Spring Show, the proceeds of which are. to be devoted to the Rmd for Wounded Soldiers and Their Dependents. Mr. H. M. Ilayward presided over a large and enthusiastic gathering of members and the prospects point to nj very successful show. Sub-committees were set up to deal with the arrangements for advertising, decorations, refreshments,' flower stall, staging, and auction sale. The show schcdulbs, which are now to hand, met'with very favourable comment, and the secretary was authorised to. distribute them amongst all probable exhibitors. Several generous donations to tho prize funds were reported. A dopy of the schedule will bo posted to anyone on application to the secretary.
