A bronze bas-relief will shortly be placed in St. Paul's Cathedral to the memory of tho lato Captain R. P. Scott (the Antarctio explorer) and his comrades. It is. inscribed: "Inflexible of purpose, steadfast in courage, resolute in endurance in the face of luiparaleled misfortune; ■ thßir bodies are lost' in the Antartic ice, but the memory of their deeds is an overlasting monument."
